Mrs. Linnea Jean Brugman's Obituary
Mrs. Linnea Jean Brugman, 70, passed away Tuesday evening, September 27, 2016 in Muskegon. She was born November 10, 1945 to Frederick and Marjorie (Miller) Gustafson in Chicago, and has lived in the Muskegon area since 1975. She worked for the Muskegon County District library for 15+ years before retiring in 2010 and was an active member and volunteer at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Mrs. Brugman was a member of the Viking Lodge, the Muskegon Garden Club, the G.A.L.S. book club, the Welcome Wagon Bridge Group and the Friends Dinner Club. On December 21, 1966 she married Michael A. Brugman, and he preceded her in death on November 18, 1994. SURVIVORS include her 2 children, Elizabeth (Brad) Daleiden-Brugman of Chicago, IL, Christopher (Adrienne) Brugman of Tacoma, WA; 2 grandchildren, Kjirsten Lynn Daleiden-Brugman and Harrison Michael Daleiden-Brugman. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, September 30, at 1:00 PM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. James VanderLaan presiding. Burial will take place at Mona View Cemetery. Visitation at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., (231) 759-8565 will be from 6-8 PM Thursday evening, with the Rosary prayed at 5:30 PM., and from 12:30 to 1 PM before the Mass on Friday.
