Linnea Marian Grumm's Obituary
Mrs. Linnea Marian Grumm, age 92, of Spring Lake passed away Friday, November 2, 2018. She was born April 14, 1926 in LaPorte, Indiana to Marion and Esther (Carlson) Howell. On July 19, 1948 she married Wilbur Grumm and he preceded her in death on April 28, 2010.
Linnea was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She worked as a nurse at Mercy Hospital for over 40 years and always looked forward to catching up with her nursing friends. She enjoyed antiquing and estate sales, traveling, especially to Mackinaw Island and to Florida. Most of all she loved her family and will be missed by all of them.
She is survived by three children: Jill Grumm of Spring Lake, Kurt Grumm of Spring Lake, and Kipp (Teresa) Grumm of Novi; four grandchildren: Ashley, Brandon, Bridget and Aidan; two great-granddaughters, Caitlin and Shiloh. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pam in 2005; grandson, Jarrad in 2008; siblings: Virginia, Maxine, Russell, Clifford, and Clarence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 5, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church (3225 Roosevelt Rd, Muskegon, MI 49441). Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will take place in Spring Lake Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church.
