Lloyd Iams,Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Lloyd D. Iams, Sr., age 77, passed away Monday evening, May 9, 2005 in Cutlerville. He was born August 28, 1927 to James B. and Blanche E. (Wright) Iams in Washington, PA, and lived in Florida and the Muskegon area for the past 20 years. He was a Tool and Die maker, working at Anaconda and Teledyne Continental Motors. Mr. Iams retired in 1976 from Wheeling Machine in W. Virginia. He was WWII U.S. Army and Navy veteran, and was a longtime member of the American Legion Post #28 in Grand Haven. SURVIVORS include 6 children, Barbara K. (Stanley) Near of Grant, David A. (Debra) Iams, Sr. of Muskegon, Lloyd “Butch” Iams, Jr. of Muskegon, Daniel (Linde) Iams of Muskegon, Treisha (Douglas) Larson of Holton, Timothy Iams of Muskegon; 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; his identical twin-brother, Floyd (Romaine) Iams of Wheeling, W. VA; many nieces and nephews. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Thursday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., (231) 759-8565
