Lloyd C. Shaw's Obituary
Lloyd C. Shaw, age 94, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Poppen Residence. Lloyd was born January 24, 1922 to Forest and Phoebe (Moore) Shaw in Hesperia. He was employed as a machinist at Teledyne Continental Motors for 31 years retiring in 1975. Lloyd was a longtime member of First Christian Church and a founding father of Unity United Methodist Church. He was also a former member of the UAW. Lloyd was a self-taught mechanic who was a perfectionist and a craftsman. He is SURVIVED by his children, Ronald L. (Shirley) Shaw of Meridian, Idaho and Donna (Jack) Nordin of Boise, Idaho; grandchildren, Kristin, Jennifer, Jeff, Paula, Jason, Kim, Tami, Kevin, Christopher, Emily, Sarah, Katie and Tim; numerous great-grandchildren; his special friend, RuthAnn Deter; sisters, Helen (Allen) Cox and Jayne Frick; stepsons, Barry (Sue) Lawrence, James (Janice) Lawrence and Mark (Sallie) Lawrence and many, many nieces and nephews. Lloyd was preceded in death by his former wives, Marjorie Lawrence Shaw and Cynthia Atchinison Shaw; his parents, four brothers and three sisters. A service will take place at a later date.
