Lloyd E. Cochran's Obituary
Mr. Lloyd E. Cochran, age 77, passed away on October 17, 2007 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. Mr. Cochran was born on May 13, 1930. His parents, Wesley and Edna Saxton raised him in the Muskegon area where he has lived all of his life. Mr. Cochran served his country in the US Army Air Corp. Since July 21, 1950 he has been married to his best friend, the former Eleanor G. Loomis. He was employed as a steamfitter for Port City Heating and Plumbing from 1953 – 1983 and then became Construction Manager for E&V Professional Services from 1984 -2002. Mr. Cochran was an active member of Holton United Methodist Church. He helped organize Boy Scout Troop #27 in Cloverville and also served as a volunteer firefighter there from 1958 – 1964. He was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local #174 for 53 years. He was also a member of the Masonic Temple #140. Lloyd was an avid hunter and fisherman but most of all he loved his family. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Eleanor G. Cochran; children, Dr. Wesley (Janet) Cochran, Grace (Paul) Lynn, Debbie (Dan) Breejen, Lloyd C. (Cindy) Cochran and Joni (Dave) Ryan; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Mr. Cochran was preceded in death by his parents; siblings; 1 son, Robert Paul and 1 grandson, Lloyd C. Cochran, Jr. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at Holton United Methodist Church, 9530 Holton Duck Lake Road, with Pastor Jerry Selleck officiating. Interment: Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Monday at
