Lois E. (Brink) Gould's Obituary
Mrs. Lois Elaine (Brink) Gould, age 82, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on July 6, 1933 to Marvin and Esther (Poland) Babcock. After graduating from Muskegon HighSchool, Lois married Bruce Jerry Brink and he preceded her in death in 2007. Lois then met Jim Gould and they were married on September 12, 2009. Jim treated Lois like a princess and they spent the past five years traveling the world with trips to Alaska and Ireland being Lois’ favorite destinations. She was a member of The Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene where she was active with the Seniors Group. Most importantly, Lois loved her family dearly. She is survived by her husband, James A. Gould; six children, Dan (Debbie) Brink, Pam (Dave) Wilbur, Becky (Dan) Weber, Sherri (Bob) Renes, Rod (Dawn) Brink and Jeff Brink; Jim’s three children, Deborah (John) Vickerman,, David (Lisa) Gould and Dee Zehr and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bruce J. Brink; one son, Gary Brink; one daughter-in-law, Betty Brink and one brother, Marvin Babcock. A CELEBRATON OF LOIS’ LIFE will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 7, 2015 at The Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene with a time of gathering at 10:30 AM. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery.
