Lois M. Glass' Obituary
Lois M. Glass, age 94, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at home. She was born on August 22, 1923 in Sheridan Twp., to Ronald and Meta (Beyer) Brunke, and resided in Muskegon for most of her life. Lois was a member of Calvary Church, and volunteered at the Red Cross and Muskegon Rescue Mission. She worked for Norge for 12 years, prior to working at the family Anchor Wrecking business as a bookkeeper. Lois enjoyed traveling with her husband, Harold to many places including England and the Holy Land, but most important to her was her family and she loved being together. In 1951, she married Harold Glass, and he preceded her in death on May 19, 1990. SURVIVORS include six children, Sandra (Bryn) Rigby of Georgetown, TX, William (Sharon) Wilde, Gregory (Nancy) Glass, Patricia Glass, John (Lee) Glass, and Jeffrey (Flo Predko) Glass all of Muskegon; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Rhonda (Harlan) Everse, Wanda Brunke; brother, Lauren Brunke; and many nieces and nephews. Lois was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Everett and John Brunke; and sister, Ione Stevens. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 1PM Thursday, March 22, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 with Pastor Terry Fulk officiating. VISITATION will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 12-1PM. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
