Lois June Hinton's Obituary
Lois June Hinton, age 83, passed away on September 18, 2014. Lois was born on June 16, 1931 to Peter and Anna (Abrahamson) Christian. She attended Muskegon Business College and worked as an auditor for the Michigan Department of Treasury for 23 years before retiring in 1991. Lois enjoyed the beach, ice skating, reading, playing cards, and making her famous fudge. She was a fun, helpful, loving woman with a great sense of humor. She will be deeply missed. Lois is SURVIVED by her children Cindy (Alex) Scott, Alan (Dorinda) Hinton, David, Anna and Richard Hinton; grandchildren Amber, Bruce, Becky, Michelle, Zachary and Alyssa, 5 great grandchildren and brother Pete (Shirley) Christian. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert; and sisters, Irene, Elsie and Joye. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 11:00AM at The Sytsema Chapel 737 Apple Ave 231-726-5210. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the start of the service. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS can be made to Heartland Hospice.
