Lois A. Moore's Obituary
Mrs. Lois A. Moore, age 85, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 in Muskegon. She was born on March 7, 1933 in Muskegon to Olaf and Mable (Hornauer) Olsen. She retired from EPC Industries. Lois was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, the Model “A” Club, Fruitport Eagles, and volunteered as a 4H leader. She enjoyed making porcelain dolls, gardening, sewing and was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers. On April 19, 1952, she married Sherman Moore, and he preceded her in death on July 12, 2012. SURVIVORS include two daughters, Cheryl (Daniel) Schultz and Kathy (Stephen) Mason both of Fruitport; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; three sisters, Muriel Frederickson, Shirley Schnick, and Marianne (Ron) Cooper. Lois was also preceded in death by her son, Robert Moore; daughters, Cindy Moore and Betsy Dornbos; sister, Marilyn Ferris; and brother, Lester Olsen. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 11 AM Friday, July 13, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100. VISITATION with the family will be 6-8 PM Thursday.
