Lois Marie Rottman's Obituary
Mrs. Lois Marie Rottman, age 85, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at her home in Muskegon. She was born in Coopersville, Michigan on February 21, 1932 to Merritt S. and Ethel J. (Akins) Austin. Lois was employed as the Office Manager at Seaway Pattern for 14 years prior to her retirement in 1983. She was a member of Muskegon First Free Methodist Church. Lois enjoyed sewing, reading, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Lois married Raymond Wright on August 31, 1951 and he preceded her in death on January 1, 1982. She then married Harold Rottman on August 28, 1982, and he preceded her in death on August 5, 1996. She is survived by her children, Judy (Mike) Doner, Cherie Wright, Patti (Mike) Young and Gerald (Lynn) Wright; step-children, Nancy Rhodes and Mary (Bruce) Anderegg; 20 grandchildren; many great and great-great-grandchildren brother, Kenneth (Vonita) Austin; and brother-in-law, Andrew Sorensen. VISITATION will be from 5-8 PM Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., 231-726-5210. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Muskegon First Free Methodist Church (1400 E Hile Rd, Norton Shores, MI 49441) with Pastor Carlos Ramos officiating. MEMORIALS in memory of Lois may be directed to the First Free Methodist Church Building Fund. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
