Lois P. Stevenson's Obituary
Lois P. Stevenson, age 88, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018 at Mercy Hospital. She was born May 5, 1930 in Willow Springs, IL to Lester and Grace (Ecklund) Poellot and lived most of her life in the Muskegon area. On January 12, 1952, she married Charles W. Stevenson, Jr. in Chicago, IL, and he preceded her in death on April 2, 2012. Lois worked 30 years at Michigan Plastics and retired as a shipping clerk in 1992. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she volunteered on the Altar Guild and as a greeter. SURVIVORS include 4 children, Debra Stevenson, Michael Stevenson, Eric Stevenson, Donald Stevenson; 5 grandchildren, Christopher Stevenson, Traci (Mike) Dodson, Miranda (Stevan) Cencelewski, Michael Stevenson, Zacary Olson; and 4.5 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Geraldine Poellot. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church (3225 Roosevelt Rd.) with Pastor Paul Appold presiding. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service, 10-11 AM Tuesday at the Church. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Lions International.
