Lois E. Strohm's Obituary
Mrs. Lois E. Strohm, age 91, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022 in Muskegon, Michigan. She was born in Muskegon on April 26, 1931 to Ernest and Hulda (Johnson) Carlson, the third oldest of ten children. Lois was devoted to her family and helped raise her younger siblings. On September 10, 1948, Lois married Herbert Strohm and they had one son, David. Lois was a dedicated and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed quilting, needlework, and making dolls (and their clothing). She also enjoyed working in her yard and flower gardens. Lois was a member of Cloverville Baptist Church and the Red Hat Ladies. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Debra Strohm; granddaughters, Jamie (Nicholas) Bennett and Holly (Travers) Davis; great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, David, and Devon; six siblings, Charles (Karin) Carlson, Bud (Elaine) Carlson, Richard Carlson, Eileen Ulrey, Dawn Bowen, Larry Carlson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Strohm; son, David Strohm; granddaughter, Jodi Strohm; parents; and siblings, Rita Carlson, Milton Carlson, and Danny Carlson. SERVICES for Lois will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, October 6, 2022 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444.
