Lois Jean Clark's Obituary
Lois J. Clark, 86, a former secretary at Muskegon Community College, died on New Year’s Day of age-related causes at Prestige Pines, an assisted living facility in DeWitt. The beloved wife of Robert A. Clark (deceased) lived in Muskegon until June 2010 when her declining health required assisted care. Lois was born on April 13, 1924 in DeKalb, IL, to Glenn and Jessie Gosnell and had two brothers, Robert and Joseph, both deceased. She married in Joliet, IL in 1948 before starting a family in Michigan, residing in Livonia and East Lansing before arriving in Muskegon in the 1970s. She mourned the passing of her husband in 1990. No funeral service is planned, per her request. She is survived by her children, Robert (Barbara) of Michigan, and Douglas and Jane, of California. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McLaren Visiting Nurse & Hospice — Lansing office, 2316 S. Cedar, Lansing, MI 48910.
