Lola M. Nousain's Obituary
Lola M. Nousain, age 85, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 1, 1939, in Chico, California, to Marvin and Lois (Smith) Inns. A proud graduate of Castlemont High School, Class of 1957, Lola married the love of her life, Gerald Nousain, on July 12 of that same year. Together, they shared 67 beautiful years filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Lola was a faithful servant of the Lord and an active member of her church community for many years. Her deep faith guided her life, and she never ceased to be grateful for the many blessings she received. In her earlier years, Lola had a vibrant passion for arts and crafts. She was a devoted and joyful mother, raising seven children in a home filled with unending love, music, and laughter. Known for her radiant smile, beautiful singing voice, and playful spirit, Lola had a gift for making every moment fun. Affectionately nicknamed “Grandma Glitter,” she embraced life with sparkle, style, and an unmistakable flair for glitz and glam. Her warmth, humor, and boundless love will be deeply missed by all who had the joy of knowing her. She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Nousain; seven children, Ron (Laurey) Nousain, John (Julie Prohaska) Nousain, Ken (Brenda) Nousain, Penny (Rick) Hines, Mike (Melissa) Nousain, Bonnie (Patrick) Wilson and Casey (Patrick Boruta) Nousain; 30 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Lois Acevedo; and many dear friends.
