Loretta Jean McKee's Obituary
Mrs. Loretta J. McKee, age 80, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2006. Loretta was born November 7, 1925, to Earnest and Rosie (Leonard) Meyers in Carsonville, MI. On January 26, 1946 she married Malcolm B. McKee and he preceded her in death on February 1, 2005. Mrs. McKee was a member of McGraft Congregational Church. She is survived by her 5 children, Malcolm P. McKee, Roger M. (Mari-Lee) McKee, Tanya G. (Matt) Beute, all of Muskegon, Lucinda L. (Wayne) Lederer of Corvallis, OR and Shawn P. (Janice) McKee of Ann Arbor; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Dale Meyers, Eugene Meyers, and Roger Meyers; 2 sisters, Wanda Hayes and Virginia Glacz; and many nieces and nephews. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Wayne and Elwin Meyers. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 12 Noon, Friday, August 11, 2006 at McGraft Memorial Congregational Church (1617 Palmer) with Rev. Dr. Gerald J. Wahr officiating. Please join the family immediately following the service for a luncheon and reflections celebrating the life of Loretta at Hagar’s Hideaway, 3155 Lakeshore Drive.
