Lori Gauthier's Obituary
Mrs. Lori Gauthier, age 48, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011 after a courageous fight with cancer. She was born on May 2, 1963 in Grand Rapids to Thomas and Carol (Schmidt) Rohen, and has resided in the area most of her life. Lori worked for 18 years at Howmet, and was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Nunica, MI. She enjoyed watching NASCAR, but most importantly loved listening to her daughter Kim play music and read her writings. On October 10, 1987 she married Tom Gauthier, and he survives her along with their daughter, Kim; mother, Carol (fiancé, Bob Sroka) Gustafson; sister, Michelle Rohen-Miller; step-brother, Aaron Rohen; step-sister, Rita Cherry; in-laws, Lawrence and Charlotte Gauthier; sisters-in-law, Laura (Rob) Carpenter and Marcia (Terry) Reiss; nephews, Steven and Ryan Carpenter, Dillon Rubner and nieces, Ashley Meyers and Haley Rubner. Lori was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Rohen; step-father, Edward Gustafson; and step-brother, Ty Gustafson. A private family service will take place.
