Lori L. Smith's Obituary
Lori Lynn Smith, age 46, of Spring Lake passed away unexpectedly at her home Monday, April 24, 2006. She was born January 6, 1960 to Robert and Lois (Cox) Elingburg in Lincoln Park, MI; and she married Jeff Smith June 16, 1984.
Lori was raised in Trenton, MI; graduating from Trenton High School where she had been a member of the marching band. She was employed by Delphi of Wyoming, MI. Lori enjoyed gardening and boating with her husband; and she and Jeff shared an interest in classic cars – especially Packards. She was also an avid dog lover.
Survivors include her husband Jeff; her mother Lois Gibbs of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and father Robert Elingburg of Phoenix, AZ; father- and mother-in-law, James and Brenda Smith of Northport, FL; two sisters, Rene Pitts of Rockwood, MI, and Kristi Byrd of Waterford, MI; stepsister Kimberly Carter of Peoria, AZ; stepbrother Lee Elingburg of Scottsdale, AZ; two brothers-in-law, James (Denise) Smith of Waterford, MI, and John Smith of Ft. Wayne, IN; also several nieces and nephews.
