My son attended St. Frances elementary in the mid- to late-1990s and I always loved Mrs. LeMieux! She was so caring. I remember one morning she called me at work to remind me that it was a color day and Jeff had worn his uniform to school. I suggested that he would survive and she told me he was the only student in the whole school that day in uniform. I promptly drove home to pick up a new outfit and rushed back to school so Jeff could change. Jeff would have survived, but I could not survive disappointing Mrs. LeMieux!
The entire elementary school secretly worked on a memory quilt for her in 1998 to say thanks for all the nice things she did for the students and their families.
