Lorraine Alta Milliron's Obituary
Mrs. Lorraine Alta Milliron passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on Friday, February 27, 2026 in Ravenna, Michigan, one day after her 73rd birthday. Lorraine was born in Muskegon on February 26, 1953 to Edward and Ethel (Mudge) Ferrier. She graduated from Orchard View High School, class of 1971, and was employed by Lowes for 21 years prior to her retirement in 2016. Lorraine enjoyed camping, gambling, and sharing a cold Bud Light with family and friends. On October 30, 1971, Lorraine married David W. Milliron and they enjoyed 54 years of marriage. David survives her along with their three children, Tony (Janis) Milliron, Paula (Rob) Woodhouse, and Keith (Mandi) Milliron; six grandchildren, Kyle, Kira, Allison, Cole, Cade, and Cory; siblings, Michael (Sandy) Ferrier, Lonn (Linda) Ferrier, Kathy (Randy) Boomer, Janet Ryan, Barbara (Tim) Bour, and Douglas Ferrier; siblings-in-law, Toni Milliron, Sue (Gary) Clifford, Rex (Diane) Milliron, Loyd Milliron, Barb (Randy) Dake, Theresa Milliron, Wayne (Betty) Milliron, and Jerry Milliron; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, special relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; Edward Ferrier and Ethel and Francis Ferrier; parents-in-law, Gordon and Evelyn Milliron; sister, Patsy Gilmore; and brothers-in-law, Denny Milliron, Carl Milliron, and Gene Ryan. Lorraine’s MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, March 5, 2026 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 with VISITATION one hour prior to her service.
