Lorri Lee Bennett's Obituary
Lorri Lee Bennett, age 57, devoted mother and grandmother, passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening, August 27, 2016. She was born March 18, 1959, in Muskegon, to Theodore and Margaret (Haney) Bennett. Lorri worked her whole life with children – as a school nurse, in a women and children’s shelter, and as a home health care pediatric nurse - before her health forced her into retirement. She was a woman of faith and had attended Evanston Ave. Baptist Church. Lorri loved her family and had a servant’s heart. She was generous and endlessly compassionate to anyone in need. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS include two children: Angel Bennett and Wayne Bennett; six grandchildren, Sabastian, Samara, Sevrianna, Destry, Caleb, and Kyleigh; mother, Margaret Bennett; brother, David Bennett; sister, Carol (Rod) Stone; brother-in-law, Bill Haynes; and 13 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ted; brother, Kevin Bennett; and sister, Nancy Haynes. A GRAVESIDE will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Webster House Youth Services will be appreciated.
