Mrs. Lottie Bauer Jensen's Obituary
Mrs. Liselottie “Lottie” Bauer Jensen, 94, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014. Born September 1, 1920 in Stuttgart, Germany, she came to this country at the age of five with her parents, Herman and Bertha (Ziegler) Bauer. She worked at American Coil Springs Co. for 30 years before retiring in 1982. Lottie enjoyed traveling. She spent many winters in Florida, and took many trips to Germany with her parents, siblings, and each of her four children. Her SURVIVORS include her children: Ilene (David) Chase, Kathleen (Harry) Parmer, David (Andrea) Oestman, and Mary (Dennis) Manning Shaw; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; A sister, Carolyn (Ron) Mansdoerfer; and extended family members, Beverly and David Bringendahl. Lottie was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Robert Bauer; a sister, Ruth DeGram; and three husbands: Edwin Oestman, Gerald Manning, and Arnold Jensen. A CELEBRATION OF HER LIFE will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100, with Rev. Ron Mansdoerfer officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS to Mercy VNS Hospice would be appreciated.
