To Louann's family,

Your mother was a wonderful lady. I met her in Select Hospital. My elderly mom shared a room with Louann as she was waiting for her leg to heal for plastic surgery. Your mom was wonderful to our mom and helped her order meals,etc. She also kept us informed about mom's condition and progress with her broken leg. Finally, she was delightful company for my mom, and we also enjoyed visiting with her. She was such fun and always in a positive mood.
I am sure you have wonderful memories of your mom and grandma.

Kevin, Mark, Diane, Julie and families, my deepest sympathies go out to all of you. I know what it's like to lose someone as special as Louann was. I will forever be greatful for all she did for me and the kids when times were tough. She always made us feel like family, and was like a second mother to me. It was so good to see her at mom's funeral and have a chance to talk and laugh with her as she shared her memories of mom with me,and I am certain they are together again talking and laughing up a storm as only they could. Your mom was a very giving, loving soul. She will be greatly missed. She was always the one who had a perpetual smile and loved being the host to so many great get togethers after the guys' softball games.
