Lou was a very special man who was always a gentleman in handling many difficult and diverse situations at Rochester Products. Dolores and I are saddened to hear of Lou's passing. As others have expressed Lou was always a gentleman and also always very helpful when ever he could. I remember with fondness our days in Rochester New York and the personal effort Lou make to reach out to me even before we arrived and offer his help and assistance. Lou was always open to new ideas and flexible to handle the confusion generated by on going organizational consolidations occurring at that time.

Arlene; Just read an email from Bill Sheets that Lou passed away. Lorraine and I are so sorry to hear this. Lou was a great friend to me and he was one of my favorites at GM. I will always remember the good times that we had with you and Lou. You may remember we used to call Lou "Baby Louie" as he always looked so much younger than us. Lou was such a great guy--always friendly and fun to be with and work with. He will always be remembered. Again we are so sad that Lou passed away. I first met Lou in the early 80's when I worked for Rochester Products. Lou was always a gentleman, caring and thoughtful and as he was to me and many others, a mentor. Like so many of us who worked with Lou he will be missed not just as a colleague but as a friend.

I met Lou when I was a 22 year old young professional at Rochester Products Division in Rochester, NY--that was in 1977. He always seemed to care about the young folks starting out. His first day of retirement in 1990 was the day of my step fathers funeral service, and Lou came...it meant a lot to me/us all. When ever I look at Happy Time, located at Veit's Landing, I think of Lou and all the work he did to save the building then restore parts of it. Blessings to the family
