Mr. Louis D. Jasick's Obituary
Mr. Louis D. Jasick, age 85, passed away Thursday morning, March 22, 2012 in Muskegon. He was born January 1, 1927 to Stanley and Eleanor (Gerner) Jasick in Muskegon, and was a life resident. Mr. Jasick worked at Teledyne Continental Motors for 44 years before retiring, and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of the American Legion, and many years ago enjoyed going to the Grange Hall. On March 15, 1945 he married Annabelle McGruther, and she preceded him in death on April 18, 2004. SURVIVORS include three sons, Louis (Darlene) Jasick, Jr. of Muskegon, Thomas (Carla) Jasick of Ravenna, Terry (Sue) Jasick of Muskegon; three daughters, Marie (Patrick) Bennett of Muskegon, Sandra (Thomas) Winter of Appleton, WI, Lori (David) Eagle of Muskegon; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Art (Arleen) Jasick of Whitehall; 1 sister, Katherine Schihl of Whitehall. He was also preceded in death by 1 grandson, Thomas Jasick; 1 brother, Stanley; 3 sisters, Bernice, Dorothy, and Helen. THE FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St.,Muskegon, (231) 798-1100, with Rev. Gerald Hagans officiating. Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION will be from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Monday.
