Mr. Louis "Lou" A. Graham's Obituary
Louis “Lou” A. Graham, age 68, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015. He was born September 17, 1947 to Howard and Evelyn (Vos) Graham in Muskegon. Lou was a college graduate of Central Michigan University. Lou then became a teacher for the Orchard View School system and worked for 43 years. While he was at Orchard View he also coached football, wrestling and track. He was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church and was a former superintendent at the church. In his retirement he taught English two nights a week at Muskegon Community College. He enjoyed fishing and hanging with his grandkids. Lou is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jane; children, Andrea Graham-Aerts (Jeff), J’nai Resterhouse (Denis); grandchildren, Ashley Aerts, Graham Resterhouse, Bella Resterhouse, Jordyn Jalovec, Jacob Jalovec; great-grandchild, Zoey Berg; sister, Barb (Pete) Peliotes; sister-in-law, Shari Graham; many sibling-in-laws; many special nieces and nephews; and special friends Mark and Julie Jalovec. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dan Graham. A MEMORIAL VISITATION will take place at First Baptist Church (1070 Quarterline Rd.) on Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 1:58 to 4:06 pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks for contributions to help with expenses. Arrangements entrusted to The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231-798-1100).
