Our deepest sympathy and condolences to Lou,s family during this stressful time as it is anyway. He will be deeply missed at our most favorite place of all—the Viking Club. Almost every afternoon all the clubs and worlds problems were solved. The Viking Vagabonds monthly bus trips will miss him very much. He is one of the last good old Viking members from the old Palmer Hall lodge that helped create the beautiful club we have now. Martha will miss him greatly at future cribbage tournaments. RIP Our good friend. We will miss you greatly.

One of those great neighborhood dads from our childhood.
It has been 60 years but I still remember his kindness and how sincere he was to all of us kids.
Nothing but pleasant memories of Louie and his wife Dori.......
Rest In Peace , Mr. Spyke. So sorry for the family.
Condolences to the Spyke family. Lou will be remembered for his warm smile and making those around him feel welcome. Also for his keen cribbage play. RIP Lou.

Enjoyed many an afternoon and/or evening talking with Lou at the Vikings. Also knew him when I and my siblings were small, and he was part of a social “poker club” with my parents. He and Dee were always so kind and gracious. My mother, Lois Medendorp, also sends her condolences. She is the only one left of the group, and is feeling the loss.Heartfelt condolences to the family. It was always a pleasure to sit and talk with Lou and sister Louise and brother-in-law Leo at the Vikings. Our condolences to his family in their time of sorrow. Know that Lou had many good friends and will be remembered fondly for years to come.
