Mrs. Louise May Carroll's Obituary
Mrs. Louise May Carroll, age 86, passed away Monday afternoon, March 31, 2014. She was born February 6, 1928 in Muskegon to John and Thelma (Buck) Champion. Mrs. Carroll worked for Hackley Hospital as an RN for 30 years before retiring in 2005. She enjoyed shopping, reading, and arts & crafts. SURVIVORS include 2 children, William (Victory) Carroll of Allendale, Tracey (David) Poelman of Lansing; 5 grandchildren, Benjamin, Tabetha, Johnathan, and Jennifer Harris, Jessica Engelter; 3 great-grandchildren, Landon Harris, Cameron and Charles Dephlefsen; sister, Betty Fields of Ashburn, VA; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Scott Esterling and Steve Aseltine. Mrs. Carroll was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William Carroll. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will take place 11:00 AM Friday, April 4, 2014 in Oakwood Cemetery.
