Louise Gillespie's Obituary
Louise Gillespie, age 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 18, 2026. Her faith in the Lord Jesus was unwavering, and she leaned on Him even more closely in her final days. She would always remind us to “Walk with Jesus.”
Louise was preceded in death by her mother and father, Gerald and Elizabeth Strandberg, her brothers, Wilbur and Lynn, her sister-in-law Shirley, and her beloved sons James and baby Joseph.
She will be remembered by her children, Lora Reyes, Sheri (Felix) Weglarz , Patti Gerhart, and John (Sherri) Gillespie, along with her brothers Gerald (Gloria) Strandberg, Floyd (Sandi) Strandberg, sister Cheryl (Rich) Denton, sister-in-law Sandy Strandberg, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Psalm 23: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside the still waters, He restores my soul. He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me, your rod and your staff they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, you anoint my head with oil, my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
Louise leaves behind a legacy of love for her family, whom she cherished. She will be greatly missed.
A graveside memorial will be held at a later date.
