Mrs. Louise June James' Obituary
Mrs. Louise June James, age 82, went to be with the Lord on Sunday evening, March 29, 2015. She was born the 3rd of five children on June 22, 1932 in Muskegon to Brose and Lillian Phelps. She married Kenneth L. James Oct. 23, 1948 in Greenville, and they were married for 51 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. SURVIVORS include her five sons: Larry (A.J.) James, Garry James, Paul James, Earl (Sue) James, and William (Tina) James; her daughter, Lesa James; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Patsy Carr. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Jerry Lee James; brother, Billy Phelps; and sisters, Marguerite Wolfe and Marie Gilbert. A FUNERAL SERVICE for Mrs. James will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 2, 2015 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442, phone 231-726-5210, where VISITATION will be 5 to 7 P.M. Wednesday, April 1, 2015, and one hour before the funeral service. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
