Mrs. Louise Katherine Miller's Obituary
Mrs. Louise Katherine Miller, age 90, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 in Muskegon. She was born in Hart, MI on April 3, 1924 to John and Anna (Sedlock) Bray and enjoyed growing up on the family farm. In 1944 she moved to Muskegon and worked as a secretary at Continental Motors. While employed there, Louise met Stephen J. Miller and they were married on June 18, 1945. After raising their 5 children, Louise went back to work at JC Penny’s. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was active with the Women’s Guild, Library and Lunch Room. Louise enjoyed her family and her home, and was very meticulous about keeping her home clean and tidy. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching at Hoffmaster State Park, and going to the lake. She is survived by five children, Sue Ann (Jim) Peterson of Muskegon, Marcia (Claude) Thompson of Rogue River, OR, Deborah K. Miller of Modesto, CA, Steven P. (Pat) Miller of Marietta, GA and Nancy L. Miller of Muskegon; five grandchildren, Robert J. Peterson, Anne Weiler, Brian C. (Connie) Peterson, Jessica (Brian Brown) Miller and Sarah Miller; 9 great-grandchildren, Jarod, Chase, Maddison, Samantha, Aidan, Declan, Emiya, Tyler and Bou; one great-great-grandchild on-the-way; one sister, Eleanor Pavlic; one brother-in-law, Mike (Joyce) Miller; one sister-in-law, Jan Miller and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents; and 11 siblings. Her MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 1:00 PM Friday, March 20, 2015 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church – Marian Chapel with Rev. Fr. Philip P. Salmonowicz presiding.
