Louise A. Neiser's Obituary
Mrs. Louise Antonette Neiser, 88, was called home to Our Lord early Wednesday morning, August 10, 2022 after a 3-year courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 29, 1934, in Muskegon to John and Antonette (Kurszewski) Glacz, and was a lifelong resident. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church where she volunteered with the Loaves & Fishes Ministry. Louise enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, puzzles, reading, baking, and most of all spending time with her family. Louise retired from Enterprise Brass Works (EBW), and had previously worked for the City of Muskegon Heights. On June 11, 1955, she married Richard F. Neiser, and he survives her along with four children: Cindy (Rick) Polanic, Gregory (Linda) Neiser, Vicky (Steve) Zylstra, John (Judy) Neiser; nine grandchildren: Maria (Adam) Renico, Dan Polanic, Miranda (Ray) Schelhas, Laura (Steve) Demetrious, Andrea (Josh) Rees, Ashley (Adam) Goulet, Sarah (Ben) McKenzie, Zach Neiser, Alyssa Neiser; nine great-grandchildren and one sister, Bernice Wingerson of Norwalk CA. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Frank and Steve Glacz. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 12, at 11:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior. Additional visitation will be Thursday, August 11, 5-8 PM, with the Rosary prayed at 7:30 PM at Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, the Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon, MI, 49441. Entombment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in memory of Louise to the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
