Louise A Price's Obituary
Mrs. Louise Price, age 86, passed away early Friday morning, March 27, 2009, at her home. She was born February 20, 1923, to Louis V. and Angela (LeMieux) Blais in Muskegon. She was a registered nurse for many years who had attended the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. Louise served her country in the U.S. Army Nursing Corp on Guam and Saipan during WWII, where she reached the rank of 1st Lieutenant. On September 13, 1947 she married Theodore Price and he survives her. Louise and Theodore are longtime members of St Jean Baptiste Catholic Church. In addition to her husband of 61 years, Louise is survived by her daughter Mary Price (Tom Schaub) of Muskegon; 2 brothers, Jerry (Bonnie) Blais and Thomas (Karen) Blais all of Muskegon; 2 sisters, Jeanne Comeau of Muskegon and Ann Geraty of St. Louis, MO ; many nieces and nephews; and her four-legged friend, Corky. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Herbert, Richard, George, Joseph, and Robert. The family would like to acknowledge her loving and compassionate caregivers; Carly, Carol, Chris, Gloria, Pam, Rachel, and Wendy. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 11AM Monday, March 30, 2009, at St. Jean Baptiste Catholic Church (1292 Jefferson St.) with Rev Fr. Michael Olson presiding. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the Muskegon Catholic Education Foundation or Harbor Hospice. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
