Louise Eiliene Anderson (Coker)'s Obituary
Mrs. Louise E. Anderson, age 81, passed away Saturday evening, March 29, 2008. She was born July 15, 1926 in Muskegon to Earl and Eva (Budd) Armstrong. On March 22, 1946 she married Ken Coker and resided in Fruitport for 30 years, where she raised her 5 children. On June 3, 1977 she married Gordon Anderson, and they resided in Ferry for 30 years. Mrs. Anderson worked for S.D. Warren for 11 years before retiring, and was an active member of Ferry United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Daughters of America for 52 years, loved to make crafts, enjoyed baking, and cooking. SURVIVORS include 5 children, Kay (Richard) Anderson of West Olive, Mary Jane Mattson of Fruitport, James (Patricia) Coker of Union City, CA, Nancy Larson of Spring Lake, Dorothea (Lyle) Jesse of Lincoln, NE; 2 step-children, Cindy (Steve) Edsall, Ruth Ann (Michael) Bisard both of Muskegon; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Merlin (Sandy) Armstrong, Duane (Rose) Armstrong both of Muskegon; 3 sisters, Genevieve (Oscar) Potter of Coopersville, Lorraine (James) Sietsema of Shelby, Ardis Ingersoll of Grand Rapids; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 husbands, Ken Coker and Gordon Anderson; 3 sisters, Vivian Pulsipher, Evelyn Jarvis, Joyce Armstrong; 4 brothers, Bob, Bernard, Kenneth, and Richard Armstrong. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Ferry United Methodist Church (2215 E. Main, Ferry, MI) with Pastor Richard Williams officiating. Burial will be in Fruitport Cemetery. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday at
