Louise I. Lane's Obituary
Mrs. Louise I. Lane, age 94, died Saturday, November 5, 2005 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon of June 6, 1911 to Earl & Beatrice (Smith) Williams, and had lived in both the Grand Rapids and Muskegon areas. Mrs. Lane had worked at Stuyvesant Floral Shop in Grand Rapids for 35 years. Mrs. Lane was married to Harold C. Lane for over 50 years, before he preceded her in death on January 1988. She was also preceded in death by her son, Bob Lane; 2 brothers, and 4 sisters. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Harold “Doug” (Jackie) Lane of South Bend, IN, Larry Lane of Grand Rapids, Judy (Mike) Toney of Holton; 18 grandchildren, and many great and great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Chris Lane; 2 half brothers, and 1 half sister. MEMORIAL SERVICES will be 1 PM Thursday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave.231-726-5210 with Rev. John Gardner officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 12-1 PM. Burial will take place in Morley Cemetery.
