I had the good fortune to work with Luanne for many years, both in my internal medicine practice and at Mercy Hospital. Luanne was always cheerful and a deeply caring nurse. She was professional, hard-working, passionate for the nursing profession and a joy to be around. Her sense of humor enhanced her nursing skills and her deep commitment to her patients was one of her finest attributes. She will be dearly missed by her colleagues and those she cared for.

I met Luanne at work, and she was always a thoughtful and kind person. We became friends, and she supported me always during my recovery from illness and surgeries. I recently talked to her, and we were planning on lunch or dinner, as she always generously took me out for my birthday. I told her this one was on me, but we didn't make it. I was shocked and saddened to learn about her passing, but I am so glad we got to talk and laugh a few weeks prior. Heaven gained another angel. Love and miss you, Luanne.

I am so sorry for the loss of Luanne! I’ve had the please of know her and doing her hair for nearly 40 years. I also knew her parents that she took great care of as well as her dear aunt Helen that she loved spending time with. She was a very kind person, a great nurse too! I will miss our visits every month. My sympathies to the family and friends!

Luanne had one of the kindest hearts. I worked with her on the rehab unit for many years. When I retired she took me out for breakfast and gave me the sweetest angel necklace. Now this has even more meaning . Luanne is now literally and angel. Rest peacefully Luanne❤️mary
