Dear Sarah, Mary, John, Chip and Grandchildren,
How she loved you !! She spoke of you all the time with much love and pride. I am ever so sorry that you can not have her for a longer time.
She was a dear friend, wise, unpretentious, humble and bright. What I loved the most about her was fun, infectious, childlike joy in the little things. When anyone would ask me how Lucia liked her move to Holland, I would respond that she was like a little girl in a candy shop !
As a newcomer to Spring Lake in 1977 "the Thurday ladies " took me under their wings. Your mother was my favorite.
I have fun memories of riding my bike on Fruitport Rd. . I would drop in on your parents to visit, check on the garden and see how Norm was doing in his battle with the neighborhood groundhog!
I am sorry i could not attend the memorial and extend my sympathy in person and I just wanted to be there. I will miss her immensely. Rejoice for all her special attributes, they are a part of you!!
Sincerely, Jeanne O'Brien##imported-begin##Jeanne O'Brien##imported-end##
