Lucille Fox's Obituary
Mrs. Lucille M. Fox, age 85, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2004 in Muskegon. She was born April 14, 1919 to Waid and Vernice (Colingsworth) Thomas in Durand, MI, and came to the Muskegon area in 1944. She was employed as a Registered Nurse, working in Reed City, and also as a shop nurse, retiring from Sealed Power. She was a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church, and the Mercy Central School Alumni. She married Marshall E. Fox on July 3, 1948 in Big Rapids, and he preceded her in death on April 2, 2001. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Matthew Fox of Muskegon, Waid Fox of Montague, Colette (James) Tangney of Muskegon; 8 grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her father and mother, a son Michael Fox, and a brother Robert Thomas. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Monday at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church, Marian Chapel, with the Rev. Fr. Thomas Simons presiding. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions to St. Francis deSales Catholic Church would be appreciated.
