Lucille M. Hofsess' Obituary
Mrs. Lucille M (Anderson) Hofsess, age 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. She was born on June 7, 1928 to Eskel and Edna Anderson in Muskegon, MI. She was a faithful member of Dalton Baptist Church; where she taught Sunday School for many years and worked with the kid’s and women’s ministries. She retired from Geerpres, Inc. Lucille Volunteered for the American Red Cross for over 35 years and worked as an election inspector for Dalton Township. She enjoyed league bowling at Northway Lanes. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Joyce Hofsess of Muskegon, and Raymond Hofsess of Coopersville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hofsess in 2012; infant daughter, Janet Ann in 1962; her parents and infant sister, Shirley. Per Lucille’s wishes, cremation will take place. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Lucille will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Dalton Baptist Church (3777 Holton Rd.). For a more lasting memory, donations in Lucille’s name can be made to either Dalton Baptist Church or Center Lake Bible Camp in Tustin, MI. Burial will take place in East Dalton Oakhill Cemetery.
