Lucille M. Schroder's Obituary
Mrs. Lucille M. Schroder, age 83, passed away Friday, June 29, 2007 at the Gibson Garfield care home. She was born on May 6, 1924 in Gaylord, MI to Frank and Mary (Koblinski) Kolany, and had resided in the Muskegon area for most of her life. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, and had worked at Hardy Herpolsheimers, Steketees, and Walgreens. On June 22, 1946 she married Frank Schroder in Detroit, and he survives her along with 3 children, Richard (Melanie) Schroder of Norton Shores, Mary (Bruce) Torgeson of Roosevelt Park, and Charles Schroder of Grand Rapids; 4 grandchildren, Natalie (Chas) Hibbard, Edward Schroder, Marissa Torgeson, Tara Torgeson; 2 great granddaughters, Madeline and Kendall Hibbard; and 1 sister, Donna Kolany. Mrs. Schroder was preceded in death by 6 siblings. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 11 AM Friday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Julian Reginato presiding. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
