Lucy was one of our best friends and Ottawa schoolmates growing up in Grand Rapids. She was always so much fun, and brought joy to everyone. My sister, Susan, and I were one of a few sets of twins in our class. We'd play at each other's houses after school and shared in a lot of birthday parties over the school years.
