LuRena P. Hodgins' Obituary
Mrs. LuRena P. Hodgins, age 68, passed away Tuesday morning, February 10, 2009. She was born January 27, 1941 in Muskegon to Anthony and Zoa (Wessel) Meinders and had been a life resident of the area. In the 1970’s she did day care at Evanston Ave. Baptist Church and worked at her brother’s restaurant “Bob’s Restaurant” as a waitress and cook. Her last place of employment was for AmStore, where she had worked for 2 years. On August 8, 1958 she married Robert W. Hodgins in Muskegon and he survives her along with a daughter, Rhonda Renee Hodgins of Muskegon; grandson, Cameron W. Hodgins of Muskegon; 3 brothers, Frank (Marilyn), LeRoy, Tony (Ellie) Meinders all of Muskegon; 2 sisters, Barbara (Dan) Medendorp, Wilma Seidl both of Muskegon; brother-in-law, Mark Stewart of Muskegon; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bob Meinders. SERVICES will be 2:00 PM Saturday at
