Lydia Brillhart's Obituary
Mrs. Lydia Brillhart, age 101, went home to the Lord, Tuesday evening following a long illness. She was born on September 4, 1906 in Muskegon, the 2nd of 7 children to Harry and Winnie (Bakker) Burgess. On December 24, 1936 she married Mr. Evart J. Brillhart. He preceded her in death on February 23, 1992. Lydia was a life long resident of Muskegon where she was a faithful member of the Central Assembly of God Church. In 1996, she moved to be near her: daughter, Donna (Rev. James) Morse of Milford; sons, Wayne (Patricia) Brillhart of Hartland and Harry Brillhart of Detroit; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Brillhart was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, 3 brothers and her son, William in 1966. The funeral service for Mrs. Brillhart will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 20, 2007 with Rev. James Morse officiating at The Lee Chapel. Visitation will be, Friday, 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Memorial: American Bible Society. She will be laid to rest in Restlawn Cemetery.
