Mr. Lyle R. Kingshott's Obituary
Mr. Lyle R. Kingshott, 92, went to be with his Lord early Saturday morning, April 8, 2017. He was born September 22, 1924 to Fred A. and Martha (Woodhouse) Kingshott in Muskegon, and was a lifelong resident. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and on his return to civilian life prepared for his career as a pharmacist. On August 30, 1947, he married Betty Joyce Clark. In 1949 having received his degree as a pharmacist he began serving as a staff pharmacist in Muskegon area pharmacies for the next 40 years. He was a longtime member of Bethany Christian Reformed Church where he served as an elder and in other capacities over the years. Lyle is survived by his wife of 69 years, Betty; 2 sons, Bruce (Marion) Kingshott of TX, Jeff (Young) Kingshott of WA; 3 daughters, Linda Cribley of TX, Judy Jayne of Spring Lake, Shelley (Lary) Black of Montague; 9 grandchildren and a growing list of great-grandchildren. Lyle was preceded in death by a son, Lee Donald, and 2 sons-in-law, Dan and Gerald. The funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, April 13, at Bethany Christian Reformed Church.
