Lyle G Rolfe's Obituary
Mr. Lyle G Rolfe, age 91, of Grand Haven passed away Monday, May 27, 2024. He was born November 1, 1932, in Lansing to Floyd and Wilma (Cooper) Rolfe. On November 29, 1992, he married Mary Garrow.
Lyle served his country in the US Army and was proud to be a member of the Grand Haven Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Lyle was dedicated to his faith which illuminated throughout his life and brought joy to those around him. He volunteered in the Prison Ministries Bible School at his church. He had a passion for trains and collecting airplanes, and also loved to read in his spare time.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mary; three children, Todd Rolfe, Mike Rolfe, and Sue Bates; stepchildren Gary (Heather) Cole and Adriana Cole; with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held June 29th at 4:00pm. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Grand Haven Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Interment will take place in Lakeshore Cemetery on June 28th. Memorial contributions in memory of Lyle may be given to Grand Haven Seventh-Day Adventist Church or Hospice of Michigan.
