Lynda Sue Swartz's Obituary
Lynda Sue (Graham) Swartz, age 81, passed away at home with her family by her side on March 5, 2025. Lynda was in the very special care of Emmanuel Hospice for the last six weeks of her illness. She was a graduate of Muskegon High School along with a group of fifteen close friends. She then attended Muskegon Community College (MCC) while working at American Coil Spring in the accounting department. In June of 1962, Lynda married her long-time best friend, Jerry Swartz, after he returned from his service in the military. She and Jerry raised two very beautiful children Shelly and Shannon (who then married Stephanie). She always felt that her greatest accomplishment was her ability to keep the two of her children from harming each other! When she felt her children were safe, she worked for MCC as an advisor to the student representatives and in the nursing department, before moving her skills to the art department. Lynda was a wonderful grandmother to Zac (age 34), Jacob (age 24), Alexandra (age 23), Malia (age 22), Parker (age 20) and Brady (age 18). She also is survived by two sisters, Sandra Sander and Nancy Flermoen and preceded in death by sister, Mary Smith. Lynda will always be remembered for her desire to care for others, her joy in bringing people together and her need to bring her own glass to every gathering.
VISITATION will be Monday, March 10, 2025, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. Muskegon, MI. 49441.
