Lynn Behler's Obituary
Lynn Behler, age 59, passed away at her home on Friday, August 1, 2025, in Lyon Township, MI. She was born on February 1, 1966, to Dale and Clarice (Henson) Behler in Livonia, MI. She graduated from Canton High School in 1984 and earned her CMA at Ross Technical Institute. Lynn was known for her deeply caring heart for the elderly and those in need, which is why she pursued a 29-year career providing home healthcare to patients and as an intake coordinator at Trinity Health. She enjoyed music of all kinds (especially classic rock and Christian worship) and shared that love with her daughter, Dana, as she grew up. She was always up for playing games and sharing laughs with her family and friends, and most of all she adored and loved doting on her grandchildren who referred to her as Gigi. Lynn is survived by her daughter, Dana (David) Michaels; father, Dale Behler; sister, Leigh (Phil) Timlin; grandchildren: Silas Michaels, Selah Michaels; nieces and nephews: Anthony (Kimmi) Timlin, Nick (Kristen) Timlin, Kate Timlin, Kellen Timlin, and also her spunky cat Charlie. She is preceded in death by her mother, Clarice Behler; and stepmother, Jeannene Behler. Despite her diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis and the painful side effects she endured, she remained positive and focused on the Lord and strong in her faith and relationship with Jesus. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made out to National Multiple Sclerosis Society. VISITATION will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 11, 2025, at the Lee Chapel, 6291 Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444 with a MEMORIAL SERVICE at 2:00 PM, desserts and refreshments following. Arrangements through The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services. A burial of cremated remains will be held in Northville at a later date, still to be decided.
