Mabel "Ann" Kersting's Obituary
Mrs. Mabel “Ann” Kersting, age 79, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 in Muskegon. She was born on August 15, 1938 to Rex and Mabel (Pierce) Dake and was a lifelong resident of the Muskegon area. Ann married Earl E. Kersting in 1957. She enjoyed arts and crafts, traveling and the outdoors but most of all she enjoyed her family. SURVIVORS include her loving husband of 60 years, Earl; children, Gloria (Joseph) White, Raymond Kersting, Donald (Kimberly) Kersting and Floyd (Tonya) Kersting; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rebecca (Roger) Hancock and Claudia (Harry) Clark; and brother, Joseph (Pamela) Dake. Ann was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Barbara Kersting; and 2 brothers, Rex and Frank Dake. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave. (231) 726-5210. VISITATION will be held from 5-7PM Monday evening at the funeral home.
