Mabel Bell Schurkamp's Obituary
Mabel Bell Schurkamp, age 93, of Spring Lake passed away Friday, July 9, 2021, at Chestnut Fields Assisted Living. She was born March 10, 1928, in Engadine, MI to Amos and Mary May (Conners) Brown, and married Milo Laverne Schurkamp, who preceded her in death on October 13, 1998.
Mabel worked as the cafeteria cook for North Muskegon Schools. She enjoyed walking in the woods, word search puzzles and most of all family get togethers.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Cheryl (Ralph) Berggren; son, Gerald “Jerry” (Barbara Battle) Schurkamp; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six sisters and three brothers.
