Madonna Theda Siren's Obituary
Mrs. Madonna Theda Siren, age 83, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2004 at Hackley Hospital. She was born February 6, 1921, in Jackson, MI to Hans and Eva (Church) Rasmussen, grew up in the Detroit area, and has spent the past 14 years in Muskegon. Mrs. Siren had many great memories with the staff of Pine Grove Apartments and the employees of Plumbs on Shonat. She loved to dance and was admired by many for her ability and style. Mrs. Siren loved setting up and attending flee markets and collecting plates and china. On April 26, 1974 in Detroit, MI, she married Theodore Siren and he preceded her in death April 26, 1974. She is the beloved mother of Sandra (Thomas) Henretta of Twin Lake and Theodore Siren of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Delores McMillan of Fraser; and 1 brother, Ronald (Doris) Rasmussen of Mt. Clemens. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Hans Rasmussen Jr.; and 1 great grandson. A funeral SERVICE is scheduled for 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 6, at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Ave., 231-726-5210
with Rev. John Brown officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 4-8PM Monday at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Twin Lake Cemetery.
