Mrs. Mae Inez Maitland, age 77, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2004, in Muskegon. She was born December 30, 1926 to Jesse and Ina Hathaway. Mrs. Maitland enjoyed hunting and fishing in Canada. On August 24, 1947, in Benton, Arkansas, she married Don N. Maitland and he survives her along with 1 daughter, Sharon and Robert Gelderloos of Montague; and 1 granddaughter, Melody Maitland of Montague. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Maitland; 1 sister, Wilma Maddix; and her parents. There will be no services for Mrs. Maitland.
